Rental fees
The $50 deposit is additional. It is nonrefundable and is not credited toward the rental fee.
The deposit is due when the contract is signed and the date is officially reserved. The rental-fee balance is due the day before or the day of the event.
Funerals & memorials
Funeral luncheons
The facility charge for a funeral or funeral luncheon is $250 total: a $200 rental fee plus the separate $50 nonrefundable deposit.
Women’s Fellowship may cater the luncheon as a separate service and separate cost, generally planned at approximately $5 per guest in groups of 25. The catering cost depends on attendance and is not included in the $250 facility total or any pastoral gift.
Luncheon-catering checks are payable to Women’s Fellowship; facility and other church checks are payable to Shelby Congregational UCC.

Outside clergy
Outside clergy are welcome to participate when arrangements are coordinated in advance with the pastor responsible for ministry at Shelby Congregational UCC.
This helps every service held here reflect the congregation’s identity, hospitality, integrity, and care for families. A pastoral coordination or service fee may apply.
